Public Interaction

.

Using the paintings of interior and exterior spaces, I used found objects such as concrete, brick, and stone from urban NYC to transform into interactive objects for the public. I utilize printing techniques on these dissimilar objects and locate them onto train platforms or public places in the city to engage the audience with the artwork. The determining results were captured through photography and video. My aspirations for this project is to place these objects in familiar spaces in New York such as the train station, where we as people are always in a rush, will be able to notice these little things. I also hope to see between a child and an adult, which will notice these objects? How do they feel about them related to the spot where they are located?
